Description tour: Laguna Rosales
Description
From the area of La Vega you go up to the viewpoint Casa de Piedra (Stone House) going through a forest of Oak trees for a bit more than an hour's ride.
From here on, the path goes through a natural Cypress alley that is really spectacular. Then some Maitenes mix up with them. Half an hour of ride had passed, and it is Lake Rosales' turn, where there live a large number of aquatic birds.
Afterwards, the National Park boundary is toured together with the Cofrone lands (Forestry Neuquén Corporation), which is in charge of the commercial exploitation of dead forests and reforestation of conifers.
When you return, you will pass through the so-called Mallín del jabalí (Wild Boar Mallín), a low area easily flooded, where it is common to find footprints of these animals, especially trampling and stamping.
